5/25 Book Discussion

Hey everyone! We were so pleased with the turnout and discussion during lunch today!

Some talking points from our meeting today included
  • the importance of balance in our projects, such as individual contributions and responsibilities
  • emphasis on people and team formation
  • cultivating a safe environment for individuals and teams
For those of you who could not make our first meeting, please share with us your first impressions of reading fiction about project management.

Our next meeting is scheduled for 6/10 at noon. A question to ponder for our next meeting - Do you think it is effective and beneficial to provide team members with the ability to send anonymous messages to Project Managers?

    i'm glad you are going to separate employees and managers. i think we all talk about ideal situations but we know different when we are doing our projects. i don't think i can share or be critical about managers and project management if my boss was sitting there because it's contrary to the plan. and we already know this is not a safe environment thus our projects go wrong. yes, i would send an anonymous message to the project manager.
